Technical Assistance:

Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency, Washington, DC (April 2003): Three staff members conducted a site visit to determine training and technical assistance needs. Washington, DC Metropolitan Police Department/Office of Corporation Counsel (September 1999): Provided information on national practice regarding community notification to assist DC in the development of their notification policy.

Washington, DC Metropolitan Police Department (May 1998): Provided research assistance on community notification and registration laws.

Washington, DC Parole Board (January 1998): CSOM provided support to enable a four-person team to attend the CSOM training at the 1998 Winter APPA Training Institute.

Training:

Delivered a two-day training on effective sex offender management at the request of CSOSA to a multidisciplinary audience in Washington, DC, November 2003 (140 participants).

Provided staff and a consultant to deliver a training on sex offender notification and registration for the Washington, DC Metropolitan Police Department, August 2000 (100 participants).
