Maine

Technical Assistance:

Maine Department of Corrections (February 2004): CSOM provided support to enable one treatment provider to attend the CSOM training at the 2004 Winter APPA Training Institute.

Maine Department of Corrections (January 2004): CSOM staff conducted a site visit to determine the state's training needs.

Maine Department of Corrections (February 2000): CSOM provided support to enable three adult probation officers to attend the CSOM training at the 2000 Winter APPA Training Institute.

Maine Department of Corrections (February 1998): Provided a consultant to assist in the development of policies and procedures for the state’s newly established sex offender program.

Training:

Delivered a two-day training on the comprehensive approach to sex offender management with a specific focus on supervision at the request of the Maine Department of Corrections to parole officers and other criminal justice stakeholders, including law enforcement, victim advocates, treatment providers, prosecutors in Bethel, Maine, September 2004 (200 participants).

Provided staff and consultants to deliver a two-day training on community notification at the request of the Cumberland County CAN Council/Youth Alternatives to a group of multidisciplinary participants, March 2000 (80 participants).
