Provided two consultants to conduct a training on sex offender risk assessment at the request of the Utah Department of Corrections, December 1999 (30 participants).
Provided two consultants to train probation and parole officers on the use of the MnSOST-R risk assessment tool and one consultant to train five staff on the PREDICTS risk assessment tool at the request of the Utah Department of Corrections, December 1999 (5 participants).
The Utah Juvenile Sex Offender Authority is dedicated to further developing a continuum of services for juvenile sex offenders. The site has implemented a comprehensive system for the assessment, management, and treatment of juvenile sex offenders. Standards for the treatment of juvenile sex offenders have been adopted from those set forth by the National Adolescent Perpetrator Network.
